Energy Isles to hold first round of public exhibitions

Energy Isles invites local residents to view proposals for a wind farm on a site located approximately 1.5km west of Cullivoe and 1.1km south of Gloup, Yell.

Details of each of the events to be held are as follows

  • Tuesday, 26th June 10am – 2pm Sellafirth Hall, Yell

  • Tuesday, 26th June 4pm – 8pm Uyeasound Hall, Unst

  • Wednesday, 27th June 10.30am – 1.30pm Fetlar Hall

  • Wednesday, 27th June 4pm – 8pm Cullivoe Hall, Yell

The exhibitions provide an opportunity to meet members of the project team who will be available to answer questions and provide any additional information or clarification as required.

Although the proposal is still at an early stage, views from the local community will be a key consideration when finalising the design and layout of the wind farm.

Please note, comments made at this time do not constitute representations to Scottish Ministers. A further opportunity to make representations to Scottish Ministers will be available following formal submission of the Section 36 application.
